Whidbey island Wedding Photography Venue Langley Motel

Last year I had the pleasure of photographing the prettiest shabby chic wedding in Langley, Washington.  It was totes adorbs and in my opinion I rocked it. Well… last week I got to photograph the cute little motel that hosted the wedding party! WIN! The Langley Motel in Langley on Whidbey Island asked me to update the photos they are showcasing on their site. I was nervous.

 

Photographing interiors is not my thing. They don’t smile, they don’t offer expressions and they require so much light! This little motel though is ADORABLE. I wish so badly I was younger and they were apartments because I would be living the rad life. The motel is landscaped with tons of flowers, it is located a short breathtaking walk from the heart of the chic little town of Langley. Oh, and the best part? There’s a park behind the motel located on a bluff overlooking Camano Island and the Puget Sound. Seriously, one of the best locations Whidbey Island has to offer. The wedding that was hosted there was spectacular. I am jealous of myself for getting the privilege to photograph it.

 

My nervousness paid off and I captured some great interior shots. I must say though I can’t wait to not photograph another interior. Editing my images I was bothered by things I had forgotten like pillow placement and awkward chairs. I love my wedding couples and I cant wait for wedding season!
