. While growing this business I found myself gravitating towards the smaller wedding. One year I decided to stop photographing "big" weddings. While that meant no more cake and epic dance parties, it did free up a lot of space for me to be more inclusive with my couples. To be truthful, my best work comes out of these Micro Weddings. When people ask what I do for work I let them know I am an Elopement Photographer. It really opens up the conversation and the stigma of running away with your best friend has never sounded so wonderful.
